New book by Lars Lundbye: PRIMI – extreme user innovation in the plastics industry

More of an art object than a traditional book, the PRIMI book’s cover made from plastic leaves, indicates the nature of the PRIMI innovation project, that the book’s articles and art works cover. With original plastic art works by leading Danish artists incl. Claus Carstensen and Bjørn Poulsen – and articles on the material science of plastics, the philosophy pf plasticity, industrial innovation and art conservation – the book documents the interdisciplinary cooperative effort between artists, designers, art historians and researchers from the plastics industry, in exploring new radical paths to innovating plastics.

The chapter Extreme User Innovation frames a new original research contribution to the user and customer innovation framework, pursued by Lars Lundbye also academically in his teachings at CBS Executive.

The book can be bought from the National Museum of Denmark and the National Gallery of Denmark, or through online bookstore Arnold Busck.
